Kate Gordon is an award winning Tasmanian author of 17 books for children of all ages, from picture books to junior fiction, through to mid-grade and YA. Aster’s Good, Right Things was the winner of the CBCA Book of the Year for younger readers in 2021 and was shortlisted in the Tasmanian Literary Awards in 2022. The Heartsong of Wonder Quinn was a CBCA Notable Book, Younger Readers, 2021. She has been the recipient of the Speech Pathology Book of the Year, the CALEB Award and the IBBY Ena Noel Award. Her books have been adapted for the stage, and she has been published in several international territories.
